Proper insulation of ammonia, glycol and other cold or cryogenic systems requires knowledge and experience that few insulation contractors can properly provide. Improper installation can cause moisture draw - which can destroy insulation and lead to unsightly ice formations, but more importantly, condensation inside the insulation that will cause corrosion of the pipe and equipment.

At IC&E, we develop and train special crews to handle cold work projects. Our crews have successfully completed over 100 projects in cold storage buildings, food processing plants, and liquid oxygen facilities through the United States with both our Mechanical Insulation and Industrial Wall & Roof Divisions..
